Raytheon is a people company, but when their customers required remote access to critical V-22 Helicopter Replaceable Parts and Parts Reliability testing data, Raytheon's Integrated Product Team sought out a solution that would breathe new life into an existing Microsoft Access application. The existing application fit their internal needs, but was simply not externally accessible. Utilizing the power of Microsoft Internet Information Services, a web-accessible Extranet interface was delivered which provided Raytheon clientele with access to this critical data while in the field without the need to carry or print massive books of data which immediately becomes obsolete as the data is constantly updated by IPT personnel.
